The player's club doesn't open until 8a.m., but we were directed to the main Cashier's cage and acquired our player's club cards and a free ten dollars apiece in slot dollars for being new members. The 3,350 slot machines were the best variety I've ever seen in a casino, but were arranged in a spacious way, and I wished I had a thousand dollars in my pocket and 24 hours to spend it, but I knew I'd be going home after lunch, with my family along. The light fixtures in the casino were beautiful as well, and everything spoke of beauty and opulence. The bathrooms featured marble countertops with veins of red going through them and soft yellow lighting. The carpet designs were busy, but mostly burnt red, so it wasn't hard on the eyes.
The casino is beautiful, with a décor of browns, creams, and burnt reds. The lack of a self parking garage was a bit of a bummer, but the parking lot had more handicap spaces than I've ever seen at a casino, so that was nice. We arrived at the casino on September 20th 2013 at 7a.m. I wanted to go to Parx because they have a 90.7 percent return on their penny slot machines, the highest in PA.
